Welcome to Huntly Farmers Market...

It's with great delight that we will be able to hold our Saturday 6th March Farmers Market in the Huntly Square.

There are still guidelines we have to follow (listed below) on hygiene and social distancing as requested by the council, we ask that you respect and keep to these guildlines at all times to ensure the safety of our Stallholders and Customers.

Huntly Farmers’ Market – Covid 19 Operational Changes
Market will take place at the normal time of 9 am - 1 pm
Social distancing regulations will apply throughout the market and where queuing for entry
Contactless payments preferred, although where stall holders do not have this facility, cash payments available

Held on the first Saturday every month, except January , in The Square, Huntly. All our stalls are based in North-East Scotland and are selling produce grown, reared, made or caught by small producers in the north-east. A variety of street food and hot drinks are also on sale at the market.

Every month we have a fundraising stall for a local good cause or charity - see the Charities page for details.

Our regular stall-holders are listed on  'Our Stalls' page with contact details and links to their website if they have one.  The next Huntly Farmers Market is on Saturday 6th March,  9am to 1pm in Huntly Square. Most of our regular stalls will be there, from Highland beef and dairy to local veg and honey.

Farmers market closure (8:30 PM, 03/20/2020)

I am afraid to say that Huntly Farmers' Market has taken the decison to cancel the April Farmers' Market, in the light of government advice about public gatherings.

At this stage we are not cancelling the May and June markets, but it's likely that they won't go ahead either.   As small producers ourselves, the market committee realises that this is going to be a very difficult time for market stallholders, and we'd like to try to help promote other sales methods for stalls who would normally be at the market. We will help publicise : - stalls' mail order business - stalls' delivery rounds - any local shops where market produce is stocked   It may also be possible to find a shop or organisation in Huntly which could act as a drop-off /collection hub for market produce - so that customers could access pre-ordered goods in a way which doesn't involve a large crowd of people gathering in one place at one time.   If you have any suggestions please email huntlyfarmersmarket@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
